The July 29, 2025 announcement describes a multi-year Avis Budget Group and Waymo fleet operations partnership starting in Dallas. Avis provides infrastructure, readiness, maintenance and depot operations. Waymo supplies the autonomous driving system and its ride service. A later Avis Q2 2026 release reports Dallas went live June 1, 2026. The partnership announcement does not disclose a complete contract profit model.
